Buenas!

Hola familia y amiigos!
this week was really great!
this week a family in our ward hosted a noche de Hogar and told us and the elders we could invite our investigators and the recent converts! we ended up having two recent converts come and it was probably the funnest night ever!  we watched a movie, adn then had a spiritual thought adn then we played games! ive never laughed so hard, we played just like charades, telephone and an animal game where uyou had to just pick and animnal and make the sound and i knwo that doesn't make sense but lets just say that it lead to many laughs as I tried to figure out how to make a whale sound;) haha anyways so this was such a highlight for our week! I love love this family!
also random funny story: we were just contacing adn both of us ran out of water, so we asked this man if he could filll up our waterbottles adn he was like ofcourse! and he came out, and said that he couldn't fit the ice in my water bottle so be brought out this huge container of ice for me to have! haha it was super generous and very kind and funny hauling around! jaja
okay also tender mercy!  this week we were in an area that was pretty far adn it started pouring rain! within 20 min we were drenched and 1 hr adn a half away from our casa, we kept contacting but no one would answer... but then we ran into this really kind lady who welcomed us in! it turns out she was baptized in Santo Domingo 15ish years ago and was so exicted to talk with us and we were with her! she was so kind, gave us some juice and crackers and were were able to share a little bit with her and are excited to go back! she also gave us a papaya!
Also today we had a district activity, we went to some caves that are in cabo Rojo but not in my area adn it was super fun! haha the cave was so dark adn there were SO MANY bats adn it was just so funny!
So overal this week was grand! love you all! les amo!
MUCHO amor, Hermana Zimmerman:)

Hola!

Hola familia!!
This week was super great! i don't remember what happened but it was great!
haha so this week actually did have its ups and down, my companion Hermana Green got some kinda hard new from home, but with this bad news we saw big miracles this week.  truly it was incredible, and we both knew that we were being watched over by our loving Heavenly Father. here are a few of the extra tenders mercies we saw this week:
People were extra nice to us this week! just everybody we talked too:D
we recieved so many random rides to places, from members and even investigators!
we have a member family help us with some service and they they took us out to lunch!
also we found more investigators than we ever had this week
these may seem small, but they were so tender for us:)
anyways really this was just a week full of lots of prayers, and even more miralces, yaya for missionary work!
also a quick tip from hermana zimmeran:
mixing cocoa powder and milk doesn't make chocolate milk... hahahah anyways have an amazing week! love you all!
mucho amor, Hermana Zimmerman:)
 pics from my area :D

today we had a sister zone activity!! it was super fun! we went to Rincon, it was beautiful and i fell even more in love with Puerto Rico and the sweet girls in my zone!!

okay short story with the pic: in ward council everybody was just like in funny moods.. idk it was super funny and i just could not stop laughing and Hmo Valverde made this like clown oragami and just said "its you! (in english)" and that was like the tipping point for everybody in the room.. haha it was really funny i promise even though it doesn't make sense! haha

well...I SKYPED MY FAMILY!!

Hola todos!!
This week was wonderful especially because I GOT TO SKYPE MY BEAUTIFUL FAMILIA! It was so so fun to see them and talk to them for a bit, so crazy adn just absolutely amazing:D haha i love my family dearly!!
okay so as far as the week went we got a fecha for one of our investigators Ivette! she has been being taught for 3 months now adn we are really excited for her, she is truly amazing!
this week I also went on intercambios with cute Hermana Santos who is from Chile!  It was so so fun and fun speaking (well attempting) to speak spanish all-day! haha, during intercambios I learned so so much, the night she was there and we went out, we went to go to a sita that was planned but it all fell through... and so since I was the one who knew the area it was kinda my choice where to go but I really didn't know where, and she just looked at me and said "Hermana Zimmerman, escucha al Espiritu Santo, donde debemos ir?:D" (listen to the spirit, where should we go" I know should be something super simple and thinking about all day! but honestly it just kinda hit me that like yes I should be trying to do this all day truly listening to the spirit, becasue we cannot do this alone!  And this is also something all of us can do everyday, becuase there is always someone we can help, i know it, and the spirit will guide us! anyways so this is like my new litttle motto that I am really going to try to rememer every second!
anyways I know this is super short but i just wanted to say how grateful i am for the opportunity I have to be here, it is hard, but i just am truly learning so much from every companion, every member adn ever person I meet! i love this gospel adn becuse of it my life has been blessed, adn I love Puerto Rico, adn I love all of you!!
have an amazing week!
MUCHO AMOR,
Hermana Zimmerman:D

3 meses and an hilarious week!

Hola my dear familia y amigas!
This week was awesome!  It was the start of a new transfer and so there were lots of changes! haha like i said last week me and Hermana Green are now the only sisters in Cabo Rojo so that was definitely a big change but so far its been really great adn the elders in our area are really nice adn one is being trained too! he is from samoa! haha but anyways also today i completed 3 MESES! WAHOO! haha but anyways this week we really just tried finding new investigators, adn the entire mission is trying to get 50 baptisms this month so we all had a big fast for it yesterday, before i got here Elder Anderson came and visited adn he set a goal for us to have 40 baptisms last month (which we didn't quite make) and then 50 this month and 75 the next!  the entire mission is all super exicted for this goal and we know we can make it!  haha we knwo Puerto Rico is just waiting to have so many miracles! haha my favorite hashtag that went around was #partyenlapila haha but anyways so having this big goal with us is really going ot motivate us to work even harder:D
also this week we explored a new area that was parly in the campo! it was super pretty but i seriouly saw the biggest iguana EVER. it was the size of like a small bicycle, and just came out right in front of us from the bushes! I was terrified, and then this car drove by and said "it can eat you!" haha i believe it, it was HUGE haha but luckily he just scurried away into this like river! haha but I love exploring and trying to find more people in different areas, there si always an advernture!
funny story for the week: last monday was Hermana Cortes's 2nd to last day here adn so the cute ward put together a surprise family home evening for her! and we had it all planned adn we had printed some picutres that were all in the house, adn before one of the ward members was going to come pick us up we realized we had forgotten the keys.... adn hermana Antonio and Cortes did too! ahhh haha so we tried to like pick the lock but nothing came of it, haha not kidding our entire street was aware of this situation adn everybody was coming up with the craziest ideas! some man tried to like pry it open, adn others tried to like climb up the apartment, but we were just like oh no its really okay we can jsut call our mission office they have a key! but the best part was when the ward started coming, they were seriouly so so cute, they were all like okay how can we help them, they were like getting ready to call the fire department adn people were calling us saying how they had heard adn were offering ladders it was the funniest thing ever really our ward is so cute, they were all just coming over!  haha but me and hermana green ended up driving the ponce to meet someone with the keys adn so hermana cortes adn hermana antonio still got to have they surprise thing witht he ward!  honestly this experience just made me so incredibly grateful for my cute ward, there is only about 30 members but they are all just so incredibly kind adn this was truly the funnniest most endearing moments on my mission! anyways haha anyways i lvoe you all dearly!!!
mucho MUCHO mucho amor, Hermana Zimmerman:)

first transfer complete! woohoo :D

Hola!
The weeks go by so fast here its crazy haha i honestly can't really remember what we did! haha sorry this one is going to be pretty short!
This week we had zone conference! It was so so much fun seeing people and we learned so so much:D  one key topic we talked about was about faith.  WE learned how everyday when we go out contacting we have to have faith that we are doing what Christ wants us to do, faith that we will see and recognize miracles, and faith that no matter the outcome, what we are doing it right.  Faith is something that I am really trying to grow out here, sometimes its so easy while out contacting to forget your purpose when people may be rude, or no one will give you the time of day, this is where faith comes in.  to have Faith that no matter what we know that we are being shaped into what Christ wants us to be, knowing this i think can get us through anything!
Anyways as far as the work goes it good here in Cabo Rojo! haha we are still just trying to find people to teach and hope that our investigators will progress:D  WE did find one guy this week who supposedly had been taught in Wisconsin but then he moved and so he said that when he saw us it was his second chance! haha the first thing he said was if we could watch the restoration video so we were like so excited! haha but yes that would definitley be under the miracle list and we are exicted to teach him!
Also this week was transfers and Hermana Cortes is finishing her mission so we knew that there would be news for us but it turns out that Hermana Antonio was also transfered to Carolina in San Juan leaving just me and Hermana Green in our little casa, we were honestly sooo sad but I'm sure that there is just more I need to learn!  Also i am just so grateful i got to meet them, they are literally the best and are now my lifelong friends and a huge tender mercy to me!! ahhh but anyways we did get two elders in our area so that will fun!
okay so funny story, out contacing this week we met this cute lady, and we just asked if we could sing her a song, and she was like yes yes! and so we came up to the gate/door and we got out our hymn book and then she just started belting our her own song! it was honestly so cute and she was good! haha but we were just like what?! haha she was a super sweet lady! haha i love Puerto rico:D
I love you all and hope you all have an amazing week!
mucho amor, Hermana Zimmerman:)
last p-day our bishop took us to this lighthouse in the corner of our area! it was so  much fun to see more of the island and he is just the best and so funny!
