Hola!

hola todos! we had a great week this week and i learned a lot about love! love in  the little, funny weird things, and the greatest act of love that anyone has ever shown.

first ofcourse with the little, funny, weird things!
-i love how everybody we meet thinks that me and hermana jenson are litterlaly sisters because our tags say hermana!
-I think its funny how at a members house, their dog always thinks its neceessary to "marks its territory" on my backpack:0
-I love how in 90 degree weather we are given hot chocolate and soup! haha but we love it!

second, the GREATEST act of love ever shown.
a little background, we have this joven we are teaching, he doesn't know a lot about god or who jesus christ is.   we have been slowly teaching him and this week we have a few lessons just about jesus christ! he has the deepest questions that make us really have to study about the atonement of jesus christ, what it means, why it had to happen.  I am so used to teaching people that have such a strong believe in christ and for that I dont think i have ever fully comprehended what it really was until this week and i have tried to really read and study, and to answer the question centered on why jesus christ had to die for us.  becuase of this i have gained a testimony and tremendous love for my savior jesus christ, i know that he lives, and lvoes us and died so that we can return to live with our heavenly father again. it truly was the greatest act of love ever shown to every single person on the earth.  I am so grateful for him and that we get to think even more about what he did for us in this sacred week:)

over all we are doing well and we also swaw a miracle with our investigator rosa this week who accepted a date to be baptized! she is the most prepared person i have ever met, and it is such a blessing we are able to teach her! we truly have seen many miracles:)

i love you all so much!!! have an amazing semana:D
con mucho amor, hermana Zimmerman:)

Hola, I'm the worst at subject lines! :D

hola!
i hope you are all well!
this week we saw some really crazy miracles and had some funny experiences! we absolutely know that our heavenly father is watching out for us even though half the time we have no clue what we are doing! but we had some experiences that showed us how:)

lucy:)
first we have an investigator who was found a few weeks before we got here to yauco, on the registro it said that she was GOLDEN but since  we had had the hardest time finding her, we stop by whenever we can and try calling but we didn't see much luck from it.  so one day we decided to stop by one more time, and if she didn't answer we decideded we probably needed to drop her for a little bit:(  so we stop by and no one answers after about the 3rd call, so we are about to leave and she answers the door!:0
she let us right in and let me tell you she is the absolute sweetest person!  she gave us some treats and told us how today she just wanted to talk to someone, and was just laying down hoping someone would come, then she heard us calling at he rhhouse and she knew it was an answer!  we know that heavenly father is in the details of allll of our lives, and we are so excited to start teaching her more:)

rosa:)
craziest. miracle. ever.
first i know i say this allot, but really we do not know what we are doing or going, or saying half of the time. we have a huge area that we absolutely love but we feel so lost half of the time to know what to do. but we have gained a testinomy that our heavenly father truly is helping us. becuase there is just NO WAY we could do this without him, somethow we are still blessed with people and miralces everydcay even though we dont know exactly what we are doing.
anyways so rosa is the girlfriend of a member who lives in guayanilla. we met her for about 5 minutes about a week ago, and gave a little who we are as missionaries:) haha but this week her novio came up and said that she would love to learn more about the church! she came to church yesterday and we met with her and she is sooo crazy crazy prepared. she lovessss learning and it is increcible teaching her.
this is the best callling EVER.

other fun things!
me and hermana thelin(my second companion) went on an exchange this week and it was sooooo fun and hilarious! we had such a fun time reunited and it was THE BEST! I LOVE HER SO MUCH!

we had an amazing zone conferance with us and mayaguez and it was so incredible! we truly learned how we can use the book of mormon, and how when we read us and all of he people we teach can recieve answers to ANY QUESTION. ANY!

our branch president in yauco came up to us and wants us to possibly teach a piano and english class! haha we are excited to see what happens!

i love this gospel, and i love being a missionary. i love my time in california and i love being in puerto rico again.
i am so incredibly grateful for all of you, and i hoep you know how much I LOVE YOU!
have an amazing week!

Hola, Hola, Hola!

hola queridas!
this was a great week on my favorite isla!  Me and Hermana Jenson are having a lot of fun together and have seen the lords hand so prominently as we try to learn what he needs us to do in each of our areas.  We have seen him guiding us and here area a few stories and fun things that happened this week that shows exactly how:)

1st-just some good moments this week:)
last sunday we went to the guayanilla ward, and after church 2 members offered to take us around to some of the investigators who had been taught before the hurricane. one was there and we had a great lesson, but the best part was what happened after.  the hermano took us to tons of people he knew! we would just be driving and suddenly he would just pull over and talk to sme of his friends telling them he brought some people who had something to say to them. haha we had some fun contacts and it was such a cool experience! we saw this hermano again on Wednesday, and as he shook his had he just had the biggest grin on his face! he talked about sunday and said how we all had the spirit with us that day. it was so sweet<3
We were able to go to penuelas this week with 2 members! penuelas is a part of the guayanilla ward, and is up in the mountains! we had the most amazing day with the sweetest, humblest members in the world.  they took us to meet many members, and less actives and then to their house, she told us about their experience with the hurricane and I wish we could have been here during the worst of it, which were the months that followed. but more than ever we have seen how god is preparing wonderful things here!   these people are very humble and have the strongest faith, over these past few weeks we truly have grown an even bigger love for these people!

2nd un gran milagro:)
this week we had a day with a few hours of finding so during planning we decided to make a goal of who we wanted to find.  we decided we wanted to find a family of 5. with two kids at home and one in the united states who live in a green house! so we prayed and went out for the day, and a MIRACLE happened.  after about 1 hour of finding we met this man who reffered us to his neighbor. it was a FAMILY OF 5,  they had two girls living at home and one in the united states, and they lived in a GREEN house and were so kind and let us right in as they had talked to missionaries before!  it was a huge miracle.  heavenly father is wating to pour out his blessings upon us,  it reminded us of the brother of jared, he needed light to light the boat, but he had to bring the rocks for heavenly father to touch.  it is the same for us, sometimes we just have to give him rocks to touch, and in this case it happened to be this family we wanted to find, but then heavenly father was the one who led us to them.  heavenly father loves us so much and is watching over us!

overall we had a great week! I love you all so much!
con mucho amor, Hermana Zimmerman:)

Siempre estamos perdidas! :D

Hola todos!
me and hermana Jenson are haaving such an amazing time back in puerto rico with our 4 pueblos and no gps in our car... siempre estamos perdidas :0 its the best! jaja
a few highlights/stories that summarize our week:D

something fun-crepe hermanas conferencia!
this wednesday all 18 of the hermanas on the island went to the mission home and had a little conference with crepes! it was the besttttt reunion ever:) especially to see some of the hermanas i hadn't seen yet, including hermana ruff!! haha it really looks like a survivor reunion show as we gathered together! We also learned so many good things and i had a crepe with more nutella than crepe, it was delicious:)

something funny- driving y nuestro casa dulce
okay so this week me and hermana jenson found out that neither of us are great at direccions... we have to drive to ponce for our district meeting, and we were given instruccions but many signs are no longer on the road, but with faith we thought we could do it! haha we did! just took us 1 and a half hours instead of 30.... haha:)
this week we also managed to almost break the toilet, our power went out for a little bit, and i set the fire alarm off when i was making a tortilla! haha we are loving it!

something sweet:)
this week we visitied the other ward we are covering in Guayanilla! it covers two pueblos, guayanilla and Penuelas, and we had a sweet youth  member who offered to take us around, she planned many members to visit ending at her house and it was the sweetest thing ever, we fell in loveeeee with the members.  they were sooo excited to have missionaries back, and hermanas! so many members offered to go with finding and referred us to people!  we truly have been soooo blessed to meet the people we have, guayanilla was hit a little more by the hurricane, this week we saw many houses with blue tarps, especially up in the mountains. all of the pueblos we cover are small pueblos with a lot of campo, and you can tell it just looks warn down, but the most amazing people ever who make you family the second you meet them. they are hilarious, sweet, and humble and i am so grateful to be back, and know that the lord is preparing many wonderful things here in la isla! now we just need to find the people!

I love you all, my mission, puerto rico, california and my savior so much!
hope you have an amazing week, les quiero!
con muchisimo amor, Hermana Zimmerman:)
