Hola todos!
me and hermana Jenson are haaving such an amazing time back in puerto rico with our 4 pueblos and no gps in our car... siempre estamos perdidas :0 its the best! jaja
a few highlights/stories that summarize our week:D
something fun-crepe hermanas conferencia!
this wednesday all 18 of the hermanas on the island went to the mission home and had a little conference with crepes! it was the besttttt reunion ever:) especially to see some of the hermanas i hadn't seen yet, including hermana ruff!! haha it really looks like a survivor reunion show as we gathered together! We also learned so many good things and i had a crepe with more nutella than crepe, it was delicious:)
something funny- driving y nuestro casa dulce
okay so this week me and hermana jenson found out that neither of us are great at direccions... we have to drive to ponce for our district meeting, and we were given instruccions but many signs are no longer on the road, but with faith we thought we could do it! haha we did! just took us 1 and a half hours instead of 30.... haha:)
this week we also managed to almost break the toilet, our power went out for a little bit, and i set the fire alarm off when i was making a tortilla! haha we are loving it!
something sweet:)
this week we visitied the other ward we are covering in Guayanilla! it covers two pueblos, guayanilla and Penuelas, and we had a sweet youth member who offered to take us around, she planned many members to visit ending at her house and it was the sweetest thing ever, we fell in loveeeee with the members. they were sooo excited to have missionaries back, and hermanas! so many members offered to go with finding and referred us to people! we truly have been soooo blessed to meet the people we have, guayanilla was hit a little more by the hurricane, this week we saw many houses with blue tarps, especially up in the mountains. all of the pueblos we cover are small pueblos with a lot of campo, and you can tell it just looks warn down, but the most amazing people ever who make you family the second you meet them. they are hilarious, sweet, and humble and i am so grateful to be back, and know that the lord is preparing many wonderful things here in la isla! now we just need to find the people!
I love you all, my mission, puerto rico, california and my savior so much!
hope you have an amazing week, les quiero!
con muchisimo amor, Hermana Zimmerman:)
a sweet family in guayanilla we visited!
