Hola!

hola todos!
i hope you all had a splendid week!
i forgot to write down things i wanted to say this week so this might be all over the place!:)

this was a great week with hermana jorgenson! my comp is from... UTAH! WOOT! (la fabrica:)
she is so cute and we have definitely seen miracles!

This week i truly learned a lot:)  and first i want to share 2 scriptures that I love and go along with what i learned this week:)
the first one is in DyC 121: 1-2, i only have it in spanish but i  invite you all to read it!
now you might wonder why i would share this scripture becuase its kinda sad right? Joseph smith just felt helpless and wondered himself where god was. i feel like we have ALL felt this way once!
NOW THE BEST SCRIPTURE, this was written the EXACT SAME DAYYY as the scripture before:)
i lovee this scripture, becuase it is saying be of good cheer becuase god IS with you! i love these scriptures so much becuase sometimes we face opposition, adn we fee like joseph smith did, but the great part is, is that we can always recognize that god is there IN THE EXACT SAME DAY! and that we can be of good cheer becuase we know who we are, and we know he loves his children:)

anywayssss that being said i think we faced some opposition this week but we also had a lot of GOOD CHEER moments!  this week we lost some of our most progressing investigators, and one day all of our citas fell through, which is sometimes just what happens but i kinda felt like joseph smith did for a little bit, luckily in both scriptures becuase thiss week i think we got ourselves on the right course to find the ELECT:)

un milagrito!
one day we were out contacting adn trying to find someone, i felt liek i needed to ask this guy for direcions, he led us to his aunt who said that her daughter has been to church in washington before and loved it adn has a book of mormon! MILAGROOOOOO, It was so amazing and i was so excited! i have come to learn that god really does have a plan!

anyways i love being a missionary:)  i love when we loose power, and i love we get drenched! i love meeting people and being so full i litteraly think i mgiht DIEEEE! today starts my last transfer, which makes me so nervous, but i know that god still has things he needs me to do:)
love you all TONS!
CON MUCHO AMOR, Hermana Zimmerman:)

the week when i was reminded of my purpose as a missionary !:D June 18, 2018

hola todos! i hope you all are so super well!
this week was full of a lot a surprises, and i wanted to share 3 experiences that helped me remember my purpose here como una misionera:)

1. the OPEN HOUSE:  this week the ward in guayanilla had an open house that they invited the yauco branch to come too! it was AMAZINGGGGG! they had an iron rod that led to the last room with this tree of life at the end, and then us missionaries (our district) taught the plan of salvation and sang mas cerca dios de ti:) it was one of my favorite moments on my mission. there were 25 NON MEMBERS WHO CAME! AHH!  it as so incredible!! and the spirit was incredibly strong and the ward soo excited to invite all their friends, the spirit was incredibly strong in that room, and i was reminded just how much god loves us and how many answers the gospel provides, this really is the plan of HAPPINESS:)

2. this week i was able to meet 3 people who completely lost their homes during the hurricane and had to relocate. one of them was a contact who had to move to my area in yauco because her house was completely destroyed. she was the absolute KINDEST
FAMILY PIC! I GOT TO SEE HERMANA RICH!!! mis 2 hijas:)

zone pic! from soccer a fe weeks ago! also we had a fun volleyball zone activity today!
working on a mission plan for the rama with the BEST members!!
my poor watches ha ha :)

the week the primary went out of town :D

hola!
this was a great week this week as heavenly father continues to teach us things everyday! we struggled a little bit to see some of our investigators this week and a little bit with finding but we know that our prayers are still being answered and we know that heavenly father has a lot of good plans for yauco:D

here are a few things that brought a big smile to my face this week!
1. the pizza: we went to a members house and she gave us pizza! it was really yummy! and then she told us how her son doesn't like vegetables and so what she does is sneekily puts them into the food! so turns out i was acutally eating cauliflower pizza..... it foooled me and the 4yr. old! dang it!
2. a few weeks ago I mentioned how a member doesn't think i brush my hair.. well at english class the whole branch got into it too! its so curly with the humidity and some of the members tried to describe a brush to me! haha so turns out they all don't think i brush my hair! hahahah
3. this man like 2 seconds ago gave me a firm handshakke and said welcome to my crazy country!  being a gringa is fun:)  i lvoe this beautiful country and i think i fit in well with all of the craziness! haha

love you all so much!! thank you for all of your support and lovoe and prayers!!
being a missionary is the absolute best and comming to know the savior is even better, love you all!!
con mucho amor, hermana Zimmerman:)

Hola June 4, 2018

hola!
sorry this might be a really short email! this was a great week! and here is why:D

we decided to try a little of the book of mormon experiment!  we tore pages out of the book of mormon which felt soooo weird! and glued them on paper, then we asked questions on the back!  and while we are contacting we ask if people would be interested in doing a little activity! we have them just mark everything that they like, and things that talk about god, and it has been so cool! we are still in the beginning phases but we have already seen some miracles! one guy after doing the activity told us he had never heard of it before but wanted to know where he could get one! I know that there truly is power in the book of mormon, and it really does speak for itself:) we can't wait to use it more this weeek!

random fun things that happened thsi week!

1. we cut grass with scissors!! we passed by an inv. house and got to help her our a little! it was super fun!:)
2. one day we were walking and passed this guy in his garden who introduced us to some plants that can cure almost all deseases! soooooo if any of you need anything i know a guy;)

sorry this is super short! i absolutely love my mission, puerto rico, the gospel, and jesus christ, i am so grateful i have the opportunity to be here:D
les quiero muchisimo!!!
con mucho amor, Hermana Zimmerman:)
